Narita to Tokyo: Skyliner, Narita Express or bus?

The Skyliner is the fastest confirmed link and runs to Nippori and Keisei-Ueno. Keisei sells a discounted Skyliner ticket for Narita to Ueno, and a Skyliner plus Tokyo Subway Ticket set for 24, 48 or 72 hours. A secondary guide gives about $17 (¥2,580) walk-up; the Keisei page shows no fare.

The Narita Express (N’EX) is the JR option: about 53 to 60 minutes to Tokyo Station, per a secondary guide. Three sources show three fares, $20 (¥3,070), $20 (¥3,140) and $21 (¥3,250), and JR East’s page did not load. A secondary guide gives about $21 (¥3,330) and about 80 minutes to Shinjuku. The same guide says the JR Pass covers the N’EX and not the Skyliner, which is Keisei; confirm that on the JR Pass site.

The Limousine Bus is the third option: about $21 (¥3,200) to Tokyo Station in 60 to 90 minutes, per a secondary guide.

Match the link to your hotel. The Skyliner ends at Nippori and Keisei-Ueno, so it suits stays near those stations. The N’EX and Limousine Bus figures on this page are for Tokyo Station.
